Originally founded by Helen Knapp, Plains Floor & Window Covering was purchased in 2012 by current owner Derik Myers. After relocating from Pennsylvania to Wyoming, Derik began his career locally as an installer for several area businesses, including Plains. Since purchasing the company, he has led the renovation of all four showrooms and guided Plains to become a Shaw Aligned Dealer, reinforcing the company’s dedication to quality, innovation, and professional standards.

Located in the heart of downtown Riverton, Plains Floor & Window Covering is conveniently situated across the street from the post office and between Mirror Image and Rock Solid.

Community Involvement

Plains Floor & Window Covering is deeply committed to supporting the communities we serve. We are proud members of the Riverton Downtowners–Main Street Organization and a founding member of the Center of Arts, Technology, and Science (CATS) Museum.

Owner Derik Myers is a former board member of the Reach Foundation, and a member of our team is a graduate of the Leadership Fremont County program and currently serves as a board member, reflecting our ongoing commitment to leadership development and community engagement.

We proudly serve Riverton, Lander, Hudson, Shoshoni, Thermopolis, Dubois, Kinnear, Pavillion, Arapahoe, Fort Washakie, Crowheart, Lysite, Farson, Hiland, Jeffrey City, Moran, and St. Stephens, Wyoming.
